a memory book made at some point during high school. So this picture of harsh but delightful Self-mockery is likely circa 1997 or 1998.

A few years after writing the first version of The Healer, (Entitled Souls for Sale back then) I created a list of what I thought were the most hilarious lines and plot points of the original version.

Good thing Tren-lore, Lara and Yolis developed past the psychos they seemed to have been in that first version!
